Feeling overwhelmed by your skincare routine? Or the opposite; do you have NO skincare routine for dry skin because you don't know where to begin?
I wanted to share with everyone my personal skincare routine. Keep in mind, this routine is for my particular skin type (acne/oily) and I am not recommending everyone do this exact routine. This is to help you understand the proper steps and get in to your OWN routine. As always, you are more than welcome to ask me any questions regarding your own skincare.
My skincare routine has taken me many years to “perfect” and I will still tweak things as I see fit as I see changes in my skin. Beginning at the age of 30, our skin’s collagen begins to rapidly stop producing. Our skin's turn over rate also greatly slows down. What does this mean for us? That means we need more regular exfoliation and also targeted ingredients to boost our skin’s collagen and elastin in order to maintain our firmness; AKA regular professional facials!
Let’s begin with my morning routine:
Precleanse (PCA Daily Cleansing Oil)
Cleanse (Truth Treatment Systems Peppermint Salicylic Cleanser)
Hyaluronic Acid (Truth Treatment Systems)
Vitamin C 80% Serum (Truth Treatment Systems)
Colloidal Mineral Mist (Truth Treatment Systems)
Moisturizer (Ayur Medic Hi Poten C Cream)
Sunscreen (Ayur Medic Sheer Tint Mineral)
And now the evening routine:
Precleanse (PCA Daily Cleansing Oil)
Cleanse (Ayur Medic Salicylic Wash)
Hyaluronic Acid (Truth Treatment Systems)
Vitamin C 60% Balm (Truth Treatment Systems)
Colloidal Mineral Mist (Truth Treatment Systems)
Moisturizer (Ayur Medic Clearifying Cream)
Weekly Routine:
Enzyme (Ayur Medic Papaya Enzyme Peel)
Mask (Ayur Medic Clearifying Mask)
Monthly Routine (Heavier Exfoliation)
Light chemical peel OR
Microdermabrasion OR
Dermafile with Enzyme on Top
And there you have it… The full Skincare Routine for dry skin from An Esthetician! All of the items that I have listed above, I do use inside my treatment room and I also have available for retail sale.
Again, this is not a step by step guide for EVERYONE. This is a helpful guide for the steps of a skincare routine that you can use to personalize your OWN skincare routine based upon your skin type. As always, I am here to help you personalize you own routine anytime you need assistance with skincare.
